Scandi Farmhouse Free Printable Christmas Gift Tags

These adorable Scandi Farmhouse style free printable gift tags are perfect for adding a unique touch to your wrapping this holiday season.

Every year one of my favourite things to make and share with my readers is some free printable gift tags that they can use to add a special touch to their holiday wrapping. I usually go with a style that suits the kind of decor I’ve used on our main tree, and if you saw our natural rustic Scandi style tree this year, then you’ll likely agree that these tags suit it perfectly.

I love the sweet little simple watercolour designs in classic imagery like skis, rustic trees, Scandi houses, stockings, mittens. They feel cozy and classic and simple all at the same time. I plan to keep my gift wrapping quite natural, with lots of brown papered layered over with strips of patterned or coloured paper and then wrapped with twine to suit these tags.

Aren’t unique printable gift tags so fun? I feel like it’s those little extras that make people think you truly took the time to give them something beautiful. Sometimes the wrapping can be even lovelier than the gift itself!

I added some simple hand-drawn looking outlines to the tags so that all you have to do is cut around them by hand and attach them to your gift wrap. You can use a hole punch to create a whole to put twine through, or even tape them directly onto your gifts. You could also attach them to twine with little clothespins, like I did, below.

Now that I’ve got these, I’m looking forward to getting more of my wrapping done! It find that wrapping can actually be a fun chore when you get to be a little bit creative in how you approach it. And…when you don’t leave it to the last minute, like I sometimes do!
