Add a spooky yet elegant touch to your Halloween decor with this free printable spooky Halloween Art.
It’s October!!
Are you starting to think about Halloween? It will be here before we know it!
Do you like to add a bit of Halloween decor inside or outside? Or do you enjoy trying out some fun little DIYs this time of year? If so, I’ve got lots of fun ideas to share with you today, in addition to sharing this free printable spooky Halloween art with you!
Some of my friends have joined me to share their Halloween Projects; DIYs, crafts, printables, and decor ideas for this spookiest of holidays! Be sure to check out what they are sharing near the bottom of this post.
I’m going to use this printable to set the stage for a little bit of Halloween decor in our home. Nothing over the top; just a few fun and spooky touches. I want the overall feel of our Halloween decor to stay in line with the rest of our house; nothing too garish or tacky. I am not a huge fan of the holiday, myself, but my youngest still does love to decorate the house for Halloween. I know it will be fun to work with him to add some spooky but elegant Halloween decor to our great room.
I modified a photographic image to create this spooky printable using a combination of Waterlogue and Picmonkey. The original image was a photograph by Matthias Müllner that I found on Unsplash. It was fun to play around with it on Waterlogue and then add some spooky details and change the tone of it in Picmonkey. I’ve started taking some courses in graphic design through the interior decorating degree that I’m currently working on, and I am going to be learning how to use both Illustrator and Photoshop this Fall. I can’t wait to see what more I can create to share with you all once I have a working knowledge of those programs!
I’ve uploaded this print in both 5×7 and 8×10 sizes as PDFs in my free printable library. Just click on the “Halloween Printables” folder and then locate and click on the folder entitled “Spooky Halloween Painting Art”.
TIP: Be sure to double check your printer settings; make sure when you print the 8×10 that you print it full sized, and not to “fit” or it may print out smaller than 8×10.
