Simple Pink Spring Mantel Decor
Today I’m sharing some simple spring mantel decorating ideas as well as a free printable for your mantel that I’m using on my simple pink spring mantel.
I had a dream. About all the soft blush pink this spring season.
I woke up thinking about it and craving more pretty pink in my life. My Mom would probably tell me that it’s symbolic and I should be trying to have another baby (a girl this time, as if I could guarantee that!). But the dream definitely put me on a spiralling journey towards all things pink.
First, I bought a few new pieces at my usual haunts Michael’s and HomeSense. Not much, just a few floral picks, a soft pink throw, and a couple of beautiful vases with some pink.
Then I made DIY’ed these pillows and this free printable 3-D art piece. Next, I made another pink peony printable to go with it all. Finally, I fetched some old pink pillows that I had in my spring stash….and our pink spring decor was born!
Today I’m sharing our simple pink spring mantel decor, and on Monday I’ll be sharing our spring home tour, full of sweet little pops of pink to elevate the look! See, I didn’t need another child, after all, Mom:)
The thing I love most about having a neutral envelope (walls, furniture), is that it’s easy and fun to switch up other colours seasonally. Our charcoal grey fireplace looks equally pretty with pops of red and green for Christmas, neutrals for fall, or, now, pink for spring!
To keep my mantel decor easy to switch out, I stick with a few classic statement pieces through nearly every season. The decorative mirror, the series of white vases, and the framed printables generally stay throughout the year. I then switch out the printables in those frames, the flowers or branches in the vases, and a few other pieces to give the mantel a seasonal look.
Easy peasy! It takes next to no time to do, and costs nothing or very little to freshen up the mantel when you stick so some classic basics like this.
This spring season, I shared how I made the 3-D peony printable here, and I’ve also added the “do more of what makes you happy” printable to my library as well.
See below for how to access all my free printables.
If you want to make this and download the same images I used, then you can access them through my printable library, available to all my email subscribers.
