DIY Stuffed Clear Plastic Christmas Ornaments
Today I’m sharing some quick, easy, and cute DIY stuffed clear plastic Christmas ornaments using items you probably already have on hand.
The days leading up to the holidays are usually a crazy-busy time of year for us all. We have Christmas decorating, baking, parties, and school concerts. Plus the shopping and crafting and card writing. So anything for the holidays that is quick, easy, and beautiful is perfect in my books.Like these one minute (for real!) ribbon stuffed DIY Christmas ornaments… they just might be your favourite DIY project this holiday season!
Clear ornaments are one of my faves! Maybe because they are so easy to make. Or because they lend themselves so perfectly to customizing for any style of Christmas tree and decor that you could imagine. I made most of these ornaments with pretty ribbon or twine, but I also love to fill ornaments will fake snow, and even bits of berries or greenery.
I started with a big packed of clear shatterproof (aka plastic) ornaments. I picked mine up at Michaels, but I’ve also seen them at Walmart and online at Amazon (like these ones).
For most of the ornaments I’m sharing today, I used bits and pieces of twine and ribbon that I had on hand.
I just fed it into the ornaments and stuffing them until I liked the effect. The great thing about the clear ornaments is that they are available in so many sizes.
Done!
So pretty, right? But so simple! And darn sparkly!
Well?!
What would you stuff your ornaments with?
