Faux Chalkboard Free Printable Christmas Banner

I really love using printables in my decor, and this time of year I feel especially inspired by them.

Maybe it’s because it feels like you are adding a personal touch to your decor, when so much now is completely mass produced.

Or maybe it’s because it basically rains for the entire month of November around here, so we end up spending a lot more time inside.

Either way, I really loved my sweet little reindeer printable art from last year (here and here), so I wanted to do something that reminded me of it. (I’ve shared my other free holiday printables below)

And, so, this cute faux chalkboard free printable Christmas banner was born!

I think this would look adorable in our dining room or kitchen as well, and it would also be a cute accessory to add to a Christmas tree! I’ve seen people decorate their trees with a banner like this, and they look really dramatic and cute. Even better when it’s basically free to make your own, instead of buying an expensive one at a home decor store!

To make this I used card stock to print out the printables in my home printer (download your own below). I also used my small paper cutter (though you could also just use scissors), as well as a glue gun and some twine.

This is really easy to put together.

Just print out the pieces, cut them out, and glue a piece of twine or ribbon along the back to hang it with…

Originally I thought about using this on my mantel… and then I realized that card-stock hanging from my mantel would probably be a huge fire hazard.

So I found a great spot for it in our entry hall, instead…

Are you wondering about that awesome pillow?

I love it too, and I always get a ton of questions about it and my other Christmas pillows by Lucy of Craftberry Bush – this one is deer buck with winter scarf and it’s available through Society 6!

Want to remember this?

This is awesome! Pin it to remember it!

I have some more free Christmas printables to share with you, as well!

  1. Hi, I just joined and love your “how to set up a wine and cheese party” vignettes! I cannot seem to find the wine printable in your free printable section. Can you send me in the right direction please? Thank you!
