Our Kitchen Makeover: Source Guide

I have put together a source list for the items in my brand new kitchen!

I have to say, I love our new renovated kitchen.

I can’t help it. Sometimes it makes me a little giddy.

I usually sit at my dining room table when I am writing posts in the evening and this is exactly my view…

Well, except it is usually dark outside.

So sometimes I leave on the sconces to create a little pretty glow against the tile.

Or the hood fan light. That adds a nice warm glow in the kitchen too.

But I think my favourite part, aside from the miles of tile, is the aqua accent colour on the hood fan and peninsula. Can you believe that the name of the paint has the word gray in it?

And then there are those corbels. And the planking.

But enough about all that.

Time for some sources, right?!

  1. Hi Kristan,
Do you remember the exact colour ‘aqua’ that you painted on the back side of the island? Where you have the 3 white stools. Beautiful home!!

    1. Hi Lisa,
That colour is called Wedgwood Gray by Benjamin Moore – but it definitely reads more light aqua-grey then actual grey. Hope that helps!

    1. Hi Callie- we were very fortunate that the tile was already installed when we purchased the house. It is a 12×24 grey tile with a bit of neutral variation in it. I’ve seen similar tile at big box stores like Home Depot, as well as at my local tile shop. I wish I could give you a more specific source – best of luck on your search! Krista

    1. Hi Tammy! Thankfully, the floor had just been redone before we bought the house- I love the tiles! You can find similar tiles at many tile source stores. I’ve seen similar ones at Home Depot before as well. They are 12×24 sized tiles. Good luck with your project!

  2. Love it – turned out great. Also what a score on the sink- our builder quoted us nearly 8 times that much, which forced us to look at alternatives. Will definitely be visiting your source when we are ready to overhaul.
