Easy & Vibrant Fall Front Porch Decor
Transform your front porch with my easy and vibrant outdoor fall decor ideas!
The weather around here has cooled down significantly, and with settling back into our fall routine, I have to say that I really don’t mind. We’ve had some cloudy days and even a bit of rain; and it’s definitely warm jacket season once again. All of these weather changes have put me in the mood for fall.
I’ve let go of summer and I’m now looking forward to sweaters and boots. Scarves and cozy vests. Warm soup and pumpkin spice chai.
If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen my story this weekend where I shared my joy at finding pumpkins at our local farm market already!
I know it seems SO early. I mean, Halloween is weeks and weeks away. But, they’re here! And not a moment too soon, because I had my sights set on changing our front porch over to fall this past weekend. And you can’t do fall porch decor without pumpkins, am I right?
And I found not just regular pumpkins; but some pretty crazy warty and striped pumpkins as well!
What do you think of this guy?
I didn’t intend to buy such a BIG pumpkin so early in the season… but once I saw this one, I had to have it!
I added some beautiful purple winter kale to my summer pots; I think the colour and texture works perfectly with the Coleus and Potato Vine that are still going strong from summer…
I also switched out our fall wreath; I’ll be sharing my tutorial for this super quick and easy five minute hydrangea wreath later in the week!
Pumpkins and Mums. That’s really about all you need…
Oh, and maybe a few apples. I chose green apples to put in the wooden apple crate.
I’m pretty excited that this is (hopefully, fingers crossed) the LAST time I’ll share our porch with this siding. I HOPE that we make it around this far on the house by the time we’re ready to switch over to a Christmas porch. I can’t wait to see the entry with the new Hardie Shingle!
Next week I’ll be back to share our fall entry hall tour, as well!
Until then, I hope you’ve found a little bit of seasonal decor inspiration for some super easy ways to add a welcoming fall feel to your front porch!
Some of my talented blogging friends are sharing their front porches today too!
Hop over to see what kind of early fall goodness they have in store…

I love all of the color on your porch, Krista! It’s such a cheerful palette for Fall 🙂
Can you tell me the color and brand of your front door color? It is beautiful!!!
Hi Shelley! It is called Aegean Teal by Benjamin Moore!
I love all the colors on your porch, and the addition of a few pumpkins is just perfect for Fall. Thank you for linking up with us at the #HomeMattersParty this week.
Such a pretty and welcoming fall porch. This post will be Featured at the new Merry Monday party beginning tonight! Thanks for sharing with us!
I love the combination of lime, pink, and orange in your Fall front porch decor. The coleus is particularly pretty and the pumpkin with the carbuncles is very cool. Thanks for partying with us on Share Your Style.
I LOVE those fall cabbages!! Your porch is gorgeous and I love all the beautiful styling and harvest colors you used! Happy fall friend! xo Heather
I am so jealous of those pumpkins that you found! I had a hard time just finding ordinary pumpkins this year! Everything on your porch coordinates so well together. I’m loving all the pops of green and magenta against your beautiful door.
I love your front porch! Fall is my favorite time of year and this makes me want to rush out and buy some pumpkins. Just wondering if you could tell me what color you used for your front door?
So pretty Krista! I love all the fall colours against your teal door! And that warty pumpkin? It’s the best.
Thank you Jo-Anna! I love that warty guy – he is so ugly and beautiful at the same time:)
Love the porch and your entrance…so pretty and welcoming!
Thank you so much Cindy!!
Talk about nice
Thanks Jo-Anne! The plants and pumpkins are doing all the work for me:)
As always, you have such a lovely space, and a kick-ass selection of pumpkins and gourds! I love it all and can’t wait to see your fall tour either.
Thank you Ariel! We never seem to have those heirloom blue and green pumpkins available locally… I was even surprised to find that at our local farm market so early! Glad I did… it wouldn’t be the same without them:)
Wow… such a natural vibe! I just love the idea of using pots of live plants and flowers, and real pumpkins for fall decorating. Then mums color is one of a kind – it’s my favourite. This year I’ve used exactly the same shade for decorating my porch. And Inhave no words for that wreath 🙂 Greets!
Hi Stephanie! I love the beautiful, rich, fall colours that mums come in!
I love what you did. I still have to paint my front door and decorate.
Hi Betty! Thank you:) It’s always one step at a time, right?
