Finish Off Your Kitchen with Beautiful Small Appliances & Accessories

Small appliances in the kitchen can make such a big difference in the overall look!

I like to think of small appliances as the jewelry of the kitchen.

They finish off your look and tie it all together.

Just as you can add the perfect pieces of jewelry to complement any outfit from a beautiful name-brand dress to a simple, everyday ensemble, you so too can complement and finish off your kitchen with beautiful countertop small appliances and accessories.

Whether you have a stunning new kitchen or an older, more worn space;  beautiful small appliances and accessories can give your kitchen a whole new look and feel. That’s why when we renovated the kitchen a few years back I knew that I wanted to also select the perfect countertop appliances to accent our new cabinetry and tile.

A mostly white kitchen with pops of blue.

And today {March 23rd} HomeSense is launching it’s Privé line of small appliances; you can find beautiful high-end statement pieces at seriously fantastic price points.

HomeSense Privé is only available at select locations – to learn more about the event click on the link above. The event lasts only until March 29th, so head to your favourite HomeSense store to see what they have available.

You’re sure to find something you love; like this new Philips pasta maker that I got through the HomeSense Privé launch…

So pretty that I want to leave it out on display all the time.

There is a blue cannister on the counter with utensils in it.

I also like to display my frequently used oils and favourite spices on our new countertops; I found the natural wood display stand and the pretty blue glass oil and spices jars at HomeSense a few months ago.

Glass bottles filled with oils on the counter.

A cutting board has green peppers on it being sliced.

I also bought our new white kettle there on my last trip. Our old stainless kettle got to hot to handle when I boiled water in it so I decided to upgrade to a more protected handle. I love the vintage retro shape of it.

Adding a sign somewhere in your kitchen is another great way to add a touch of whimsy; sort of like a chunky statement necklace, right? I found this pretty one when we were visiting Switzerland last summer and I packed it home on the airplane as my carry-on. I may have gotten a few looks wandering around the airport with this under my arm.

A white kettle is on the stove.

I also love the vintage feel of our coffee maker and toaster; I selected these when we first finished off our kitchen renovation. I think they work really well with the style and finish of our wall sconces.

Stainless steel microwave is on the counter.

Rustic woven baskets and wooden accents are my favourite way to warm up a white kitchen; I love bringing in some natural and rustic tones. If I had a need for window coverings, I would definitely add some bamboo roman blinds to add warm texture around the room.

A stainless steel coffee maker.

More of the blue glass – I love this blue glass coffee storage jar that I found at HomeSense at the same time as my blue glass oil and spices jars.

Blue cups and dishes in on the open shelves.

A large window overlooking the lake in the kitchen.

And how about something natural to finish it all off? Or, at least, faux natural? Like the little lemon tree…

There are so many simple things you can do to finish off your kitchen, and beautiful countertop appliances are the perfect place to start. So head to HomeSense soon as you know how things sell out quickly, and check out their Privé event!
