When designing a space or doing a project do you sometimes ‘chicken out’ and take the safe route rather then following through with your original vision?  Maybe that idea you had becomes a little scary once you see the paint color in the can and you think…. “uh, maybe I should just stick with white”?   Or you put back those stunning patterned drapes and opt for safe neutral stripes because “they might be a little too much”.  Or do you put off completing DIY projects because you think that they might not work out or you might mess it up somehow?  Well, sometimes playing it safe works.  And sometimes it leads to disappointment and buyer’s remorse (or DIY-er’s remorse – even worse)…  I think that this fear of making a mistake or failing is something we all struggle with in the DIY world.  So this winter a group of bloggers is getting together to challenge themselves and challenge you to BE BOLD!
