Simple White & Green Summer Mantel Decor {with free printable tropical leaf art}
Today I’m sharing my simple white and green summer mantel decor, as part of the Seasonal Simplicity Summer Series, and featuring my free printable tropical leaf prints.
The weather has already been hot and beautiful the last few weeks and it feels like summer has already arrived. I keep seeing friends on social media talking about their kids being on summer holidays already, but we’re still plugging away with nearly another month of school left to go! Our boy’s sports and activities are still in full swing, though they will start to wind down in the next few weeks. We are definitely looking forward to a bit of a slower pace come the end of June.
With having such a busy year selling, moving, and then renovating our new house, we are hoping to wrap up a few big jobs this month so we can have a bit of down-time come July and August. Yay, summer!
Next week I’m really excited to share our super simple and relaxed summer home tour, but this week I’ve got a sneak peak for you with our simple white and green summer mantel decor (featuring the free printable tropical leaf art that I shared a couple of week’s back).
And today I’m joined by 20 of my friends who are also sharing their simple summer mantel and vignette decor ideas as part of the Seasonal Simplicity Summer Series. Don’t forget to check out all their awesome posts at the bottom of this one.
I hope you find some inspiration for your own summery home…
As I mentioned, I kept things really simple.
The backdrop of our mantel is still the Midnight Grey (by General Paint) painted brick, and I have to admit that the two asymmetrical shelves are growing on me. Originally I had planned to redo the face of our fireplace, but now I’m not sure that I will. I love the way the white accessories pop against the dark backdrop, and having two shelves is fun to layer (now that my symmetry-loving-heart has gotten used to it).
There are those printables… I love them so much that I want to find somewhere else to display the others that I made!
Want to get the look? I’ve gathered some similar finds for you…
All my printables are available to my email subscribers in my printable library.

Very nice color choices and thank you for the free printable
Oh my!! How pretty the green and white is on that dark wall!! Such a pretty pop!
Hi. As the previous home owner I must say I really love all the changes you have made (even if our tastes are a bit different) It makes me feel so happy to see the house getting so much love. My husband, my daughters and myself loved living there and have tons of awesome memories. Absolutely thrilled that you are keeping the fireplace shelves as my husband installed them and I loved dressing them up. Can’t wait to see what you do next. Cheers, Melanie
I absolutely love your dark fireplace and the sprinkling of plants, just beautiful Krista! xo
These leaf printables are so lovely. There’s something so simple and classic about watercolor leaves. They look perfect against your dark fireplace. My kids are still plugging away but can’t wait for them to finish for the summer 🙂
Thanks for the free printable!! I love your painted brick!!
You know – I think I like the staggered mantel, too. It’s unique. Whatever you decide to do – I’m sure it will be beautiful. Love the color you chose for the brick – it looks great with the green!
We are on the same wavelength today Krista! Thanks for hosting and off to pin! xo
