5 Minute Dollar Store DIY Fall Wreath

Yesterday I was talking about how I’m starting to feel mentally ready to transition from summer to fall.

Which means I’m starting to think about going back to school.

Setting up new routines.

And, of course, fall decor.

And where better to start then the front door?

I’m craving some new fall planters for our porch and plan to head to the nursery soon.

But, in the meantime, this wreath is a great start.

It took about five minutes to make, and aside from the grapevine wreath form which I already had on-hand, I bought the only other supplies for it from the dollar store.

Quick, thrifty, and a fun hit of colour.

What more could you want for this busy time of year?

Supplies I used:

12″ Grapevine Wreath – also available on Amazon if you don’t have one in your stash
Faux leaf branches/picks from my local Dollarama Store – you could also watch for sales and coupons at your local craft store

This wreath was super easy to make and I followed the exact same method of tucking and wrapping the ends of the leaf/floral picks the same way as I did with my Spring/Easter Wreath.

And if you have trouble with keeping the ends of the branches tied in, then you can use some twine like I did with my Spring Forsythia wreath…

I love the pop of warm colour for Fall…

And you could use other types of fall leaves or fall berries as well.
