A Weekend Cuppa Tea: Mantels and Pumpkins and Fall Eats

Hello All! I love a warm cozy cuppa tea. Nothing quite like it to relax and refresh at the same time.

You know what else I love? Being inspired. And every week I find a whole lot of new inspiration out there amongst all the talented bloggers that I follow and meet through link-ups.

Now that school is back in, the weeks are so busy and it is hard to find the time to explore all those fabulous inspiring projects as thoroughly as one would like.

So I am starting to pin all of my ‘favourite’ ideas (ones that are my cup of tea)… onto my Pinterest Board “A Weekend Cuppa Tea”.

Then I can go back and explore them a little further on the weekend… and I can share them with all of you as well!

This week I must have had fall on my mind… and there was plenty of amazing fall inspiration out there to be had. Time to sit back and enjoy this week’s brew.

  1. I’ve been looking forward to seeing your fall decor ideas. My house is already starting to change colours, like a fall leaf. I’ve replaced the turquoise candles with burnt orange ones, I’ve made cushion slip covers for the outdoor swing on my front porch (they are just orange drapes from Giant Tiger/ $10 each, sewn like large pillow cases) and I had a party last week where I used colours of yellow, dark red and soft green in the paper goods and flowers.

A real crowd pleaser was this dessert dip served in a small pumpkin: a small can of pumpkin, a package of vanilla pudding (just mix the powder with the pumpkin), 1 tsp of pumpkin pie spice and 1/2 package of cool whip. Serve with ginger snaps and small oatmeal cookies or even apple wedges.

I just wish fall could last till December 20 when winter officially arrives.
