Awesome Linen Closet Organization!!

I love an organized closet.

A few years ago my old neighbour told me that she didn’t like to waste her time doing things like organizing closets.

I pretended that I agreed. Pretended that I would rather be outside enjoying the sunshine instead of inside itemizing and labeling and organizing my closets.

Truth be told, I get a weird secret little joy out of organizing.

I’m not saying that if you come over and look in our closets that they will all be in tip-top shape.

In fact the opposite is true. You open some of those closet doors and you will be putting your life at risk from things falling down on you.

But there are a few closets that I have managed to give a little extra organizing love to.

Like our linen closet.

I even made it a cute little sign to dress it up.

And covered my shelves up with some pretty-ish contact paper (well, it was the prettiest contact paper that I could find at the store, anyhow).

And since I now have at least one nicely organized closet that I shared over on Hometalk, they asked me to curate a board for them of some awesome hacks for keeping your linen closet in tip-top shape.

I am telling you, there are some good ideas on my Linen Closet Hometalk Board!

Like how to deal with those pesky messy looking fitted sheets.

And how to fold towels so beautifully that you could win a contest.

Or even some super amazing and thrifty ways to create pretty storage for your linen closet.

So I highly suggest you check it out!

  1. Great round up! If you stop by unexpectedly at my house, there will likely be toys strewn from one corner of the house to the other and my beds probably won’t be made, but all my closets and drawers will be perfectly organized. I get a secret joy from knowing my closets are organized too. Oh and my four year old might greet you at the door naked, that’s his new thing. 🙂

  2. I love the towel folding post–I just re-folded all my towels in my linen closet and it looks so much neater. I used to roll them, but this definitely takes up less room
