Easter Mantel Decor with Color
Pink, blues, greens, and a few little pops of yellow. That’s the Easter colour scheme that I worked with, and the painting I downloaded from Etsy is the perfect piece of art for our spring Easter mantel decor.
I kept a lot of the key items on our mantel the same, including my DIY textured thrift store vases. Switching out the vase fillers from wintery branches and greenery to springier florals made a huge difference.
Remember our mantel with its winter look?
I loved it! But was ready for some colour! The artwork on our Frame TV was the jumping off point for the pops of pink and blue/greens of the DIY Easter Egg garland.
Thrifty Easter Mantel Decor
The little white bunnies are from the dollar store a few years back; one is original, and the other was spray painted out in white. Which way do you prefer them? Either way, they are certainly a cute and super inexpensive addition to you mantel decor for Easter.
These old spindles have been around for years. They’re a second hand store find, and the perfect shade for Easter time of minty spring green.
I shared how to make the speckled Easter Egg garland in this article.
This springy Easter mantel decor was not only simple and quick to pull together, but I literally did not buy a single thing! I find that owning good quality spring florals (that you can store and then use from year to year) goes a long way to changing the feel in your room without much time or effort.
Pretty much all of my spring florals are from Michaels – best tip?! Watch for BOGO and 40% off sales! It actually makes them pretty affordable, especially when you consider how many seasons they will serve you for.
