Today I’m sharing the most popular posts from The Happy Housie blog during the past year of 2019.
Happy New Year! Can you believe that it’s 2020? I honestly can’t…. the last year was so full for us that I hadn’t even given the “decade change” any thought until the last few days. It’s crazy to remember how different our lives were just ten years ago. I had not yet given birth to our youngest child; we had a two year old at home, and lived in a different community. Since 2010, we’ve moved three times, had three (or more) different roles at work, and our boys have gone from non-existent and 2 to 9 and 12! Talk about big growth years. The last decade has been full of amazing experiences, as was the previous one, and I truly look forward to what the decade ahead holds. I hope you are excited about what the year and decade ahead hold, and remember that each day is truly a new start; not just “New Years Day”.
I know not everyone loves the whole reflection part of the New Year and that many people don’t set resolutions anymore, but I love using this time of year as a start-and-stop reflection point in my life. It’s also fun to take the time to look back at the previous year and assess not just what we accomplished, but also what was popular during the year. Counting Down, Jay Leno style, the following were my most viewed articles published in 2019. I have a ton of other blog content from previous years that continues to enjoy a great deal of popularity, but today I’m just focusing back in on content that I wrote during the past calendar year. Also, I focused in on content that was original to me, as some of my popular material involves roundups of other blogger’s work. I’ve shared some of my most popular roundups after the countdown.
